Educational Technology Advisory Council (ETAC)
The successful transition of technology from an assistance tool into the daily culture of all educational processes requires valuable input from all stakeholders within the learning community. One of the main purposes of the Educational Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC), is to assist with the school district’s development, integration, testing, deployment, support and use of new concepts and technologies as it affects the learning enterprise. Specifically, ETAC provides input and advice on issues involving technology. The group acts as an open technology forum, information exchange and source of ideas to help facilitate positive change in instructional technology within the District. Their main goal is to assist schools in applying technology effectively and appropriately to meet student learning needs.
