New LRSD Clinical Team Leader
Livingstone Range School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kendra Massie as Clinical Team Leader.
The Clinical Team Leader works in collaboration with the School-Based Team, Division Learning Services Team, and community agencies to assist in the development of supports for students and classrooms.
Dr. Massie has spent the last few years in Calgary, but is a Granum native and completed her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science) at the University of Lethbridge. She went on to complete an MA in Educational Psychology at the University of Victoria and a PhD in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Toronto. She brings a wealth of experience to her new position, including over 10 years working with children, families and adults with behavioural challenges, learning and developmental disabilities, anxiety, ADHD, trauma and attachment concerns.
Dr. Massie describes herself as having a strong commitment to lifelong learning and optimizing the quality of psychosocial services provided within Alberta. She will begin her duties with LRSD on August 24, 2017, assuming the role that will be vacated by Shaun Metz, who has accepted a new position in Lethbridge.
On behalf of the Livingstone Range community, we welcome Kendra and look forward to working with her to meet the needs of students across the Division.
