Becker has also led numerous technology initiatives including management of the school’s websites and social media, and implementation of the “Bring Your Own Device” pilot project. She is eager to continue her good work in the role of principal.
“I am honored to be chosen for this leadership role at A.B. Daley School for the upcoming school year,” says Becker. “I have had the pleasure of working within the Nanton Community for the past six years as assistant principal, and I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with staff, families and community members in order to ensure success for all of our students.”
Becker was a nominee for the Edwin Parr Excellence in First-Year Teaching award, and lends her talents to student activities outside the classroom including school council, the A.B. Daley Book Club and the AMA Safety Patrol Program.
The Division would like to congratulate Jolene Becker on her new appointment and wish her the very best of success in the future.
