Lacey Poytress
Board Vice Chair, Ward 3
Lacey was elected as a Livingstone Range School Division Board of Trustee member in 2017 as a representative of Ward 3. She currently serves as Board Vice Chair and on the Labour Relations, Awards & Recognition, ATA Executive/LRSD Trustee Liaison, Regional School Council, Time Sheet, Alberta Teaching Profession Commission Resolution Committees as well as on the Wisdom and Guidance Council.
Lacey is extremely passionate about maintaining Alberta's high standard of education, teaching the true history of Canada in an effort to address the calls to action that specifically pertain to education and work towards reconciliation, and advocating for proper mental health supports for all students in Alberta. She believes in cultivating meaningful relationships with Alberta Health Services so we can collaborate on strategies around mental health and lobby the government together.
As a wife and mother of four children, Lacey is passionate about the emerging generation. She enjoys running, reading, spending time with her family, and is an energetic and personable individual.
