Greg Long
Ward 2
Greg was elected as a Livingstone Range School Division Board of Trustee member in 2017 as a representative of Ward 2. He currently serves on the Policy Review, Advocacy, and Time Sheet Committees, and is a representative to the ASBA Rural Caucus.
Greg advocates for the health and welfare of students and staff, and for a positive and active school environment that provides opportunities for all students to be successful. As a Trustee, Greg fosters positive school and community interactions.
A teacher in the Crowsnest Pass for 30 years, Greg also spent 15 years as chairman of the Alberta Teachers’ Association Policy & Negotiations committee and during his career coached volleyball, track, and cross-country and was very active in outdoor education. Greg is a person of commitment and personal integrity who lives by the principles of compassion and empathy.
