Kathy Charchun
Ward 1
Kathy was elected as a Livingstone Range School Division Board of Trustee member in October 2023 as a representative of Ward 1. She currently serves on the Audit, Appeal & Discipline, Policy Review, Emergency Response, Alberta Teaching Profession Commission Resolution, and Nanton Solution Committees.
For 30 years Kathy was a teacher and administrator at six schools across Livingstone Range School Division and then as Division Numeracy Lead. Kathy is currently a designer of professional learning with the Southern Alberta Professional Development Consortium, supporting teachers across the province. With her experience in education and as a school administrator, the perspective Kathy brings to the Board is invaluable.
Kathy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and nearly any outdoor activity that includes water, particularly sailing.
