Marnie Davidson Named Principal of Horace Allen School

Posted on

Livingstone Range School Division is pleased to announce that Marnie Davidson has been named Principal of Horace Allen School in Coleman beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

Davidson holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge. She has nearly 30 years of teaching experience, with the last 19 years in Livingstone Range School Division as a teacher, learning support teacher, assistant principal and most recently principal of Isabelle Sellon School in Blairmore.

"We are very excited to have Marnie assume the role of Principal at Horace Allen School," says Richard Feller, Associate Superintendent of Human & Learning Services. "Marnie brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and commitment to continue the excellence that has been established at Horace Allen School. We know our students, staff and community will be well served by Marnie's strong leadership and dedication to the Crowsnest Pass."

Enthusiastic about this new opportunity, Davidson says, "I am very excited to be joining the collaborative team at Horace Allen School in the fall! I look forward to being part of the wonder, enthusiasm and spark for learning in the primary years; as well as establishing proactive partnerships with the families of early learning and K-3 students!"

Davidson enjoys spontaneous adventures (thanks to her husband, Cam), summer road trips by motorcycle, the quiet solitude of a campfire, reading a good book paired with a great cup of coffee, and time spent hiking or cross-country skiing. She and Cam have one son, who is currently in his second year of carpentry apprenticeship at Lethbridge Polytechnic.

Congratulations to Marnie Davidson on her new role.
