National Award for PEAKS Collegiate Campus Promotions

Posted on

National attention was on PEAKS Collegiate Campus with the win of a BRAVO! Award at the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education (CACE) annual conference. Karly Bond, Coordinator of Communications, Culture, & Engagement for Livingstone Range School Division, won a Coup de Coeur award for a suite of marketing materials promoting dual credit programming and community partnerships at PEAKS Collegiate Campus for Environmental Science.

"Not only does this award highlight the exceptional programming at PEAKS Collegiate Campus, it also is well-deserved recognition of Karly's contributions to Livingstone Range School Division," says Darryl Seguin, Superintendent. "Congratulations to Karly on her BRAVO! Award!"

Karly, who has worked in this role since early 2019, enjoys showcasing innovative and collaborative opportunities from around the jurisdiction. "I love celebrating the remarkable things happening in Livingstone Range School Division and I'm passionate about sharing our stories with clarity and appeal," she says. "It's an honor to have that recognized by CACE."

The BRAVO! Awards are the highest national program recognizing excellence in K-12 school board communications, including public relations, marketing, and engagement. A panel of accredited communications and public relations professionals outside of the education industry judges the nominations in four categories: Coup de Coeur, Crisis Communication, Award of Distinction, and Award of Excellence. The awards are presented each year at the CACE national conference gala, this year held in Calgary.
