Sam Demma Empowers Students and Staff in LRSD
Posted onOn September 18th and 19th, Sam Demma returned to Livingstone Range School Division for a two-day engagement, visiting F.P. Walshe School in Fort Macleod, Willow Creek Composite High School in Claresholm, and J.T. Foster High School in Nanton. This marked Sam's second visit to the division, following his initial invitation from Principal Bryan Burns, during which he spoke to the entire staff of Matthew Halton High School.
Sam delivered his signature keynote presentations at each stop, engaging students and staff with his dynamic blend of storytelling, humour, and actionable life lessons. His talks centered around themes of personal growth, empathy, and leadership, drawing from his own experiences and the core message of his book, Empty Your Backpack.
One parent messaged Sam after the presentation: "Thank you for speaking at my son's school today. He came home and told me all about it."
This follow-up visit highlights the strong relationship Sam has built with Livingstone Range School Division. In his previous visit to Matthew Halton High School, Sam inspired the entire staff, and this recent tour aimed to extend that same impact to students across multiple schools.
Sam's presentations are designed to leave a lasting impact. Students not only walk away feeling inspired but are also provided with practical tools to implement positive changes in their daily lives.
