Steven Kaskiw Named Principal of Livingstone School

Livingstone Range School Division is pleased to announce that Steven Kaskiw has been named Principal of Livingstone School in Lundbreck beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
Kaskiw holds Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Education, and Master of Education degrees from Brandon University. He has eleven years of teaching experience in all grades, a focus on high school math and science, and coaching junior and senior high school sports.
"We are very pleased to welcome Steven to our LRSD family," says Richard Feller, Deputy Superintendent of Human & Learning Services. "Steven brings a strong commitment to academic, cultural, and sport excellence. We know that his experience and passion for rural education will support the amazing Livingstone School community."
Kaskiw looks forward to working with the students, staff, and community of Livingstone School. "I am thrilled to be joining Livingstone School and to continue fostering a culture of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts," he says. "Growing up and teaching in a rural K-12 school in southwestern Manitoba has given me a deep understanding of the diverse needs within a small community. I look forward to contributing to the school's proud legacy while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation."
In his freetime, Kaskiw enjoys reading, walking his dog, exercising, and playing various sports. He is excited to explore some of the scenic hiking trails the Lundbreck area has to offer.
