Students Discover Career Pathways with Lettie Croskery
Posted on“What do you want to do when you are older?” The answer might be easy enough for a young child, but the closer a student gets to graduation, the bigger the question looms.
LRSD Career Practitioner Lettie Croskery is passionate about helping students prepare for their journey beyond high school. She works not only with students but with organizations such as CERIC to help promote career planning education and processes locally and across the country. Lettie has written articles and been a podcast guest on topics ranging from how parents can help their kids plan for their future to helping students discover their passion for a particular career area.
“It has been an incredibly gratifying experience to share with others my stories as a Career Practitioner within the Livingstone Range School Division,” says Lettie. “I am proud of our work in connecting our students and their families to a wide range of information and resources as they plan for the years beyond high school. CareerWise by CERIC allows us to share strategies with others and learn about the strides being made in other parts of Canada and around the world to support our approaches to career development.”
